Quarteira was an old fishermen's village in the municipality of Loulé, in the Algarve, which became a large tourist center. This thanks to its beach and its extensive avenues full of good restaurants where you can taste fresh fish, tents, hotels and tourist complexes.
The Beach of Quarteira is an urban beach that has an extensive beach of about 3 kilometers of longitude that offers calm baths. Next to the beach you will find a large and lively coastal promenade known as the Boardwalk which offers numerous tourist facilities, terraces for sunbathing and lots of entertainment. At the west end of the beach there is still a fishing village with beautiful boats.
