Against the backdrop of the long cliff that looks reddish, coppery or golden, it reaches its peak of beauty at dusk. The immense beach, which extends for several kilometers between Olhos de Agua and Vilamoura, has several concession areas.
The one called Praia da Falésia or Açoteias (name that is due to the surrounding tourist village) is in the central zone and is a quiet sea beach, with good access by tarmac road. It offers a wide range of water sports for holidaymakers.
A little further east, the beach has another access next to the Alfamar Resort, which gives name to this area of the beach with conditions and support infrastructures in all similar to the other concession areas.
